Plans to create an outdoor recreation centre in a derelict formerquarry are set to be presented to town councillors.
Jonathan Ely and wife Emma King have had their application toturn the 170-acre Huntley Wood validated by Staffordshire MoorlandsDistrict Council.
They are now attempting to drum up local support for theapplication, which will be decided in April.
The couple purchased the spot after controversial landfill plansput forward as part of a proposed golf course development werethrown out.
